2. What We DON'T Do

• ❌ We don't access your camera unless you're scanning a QR code
• ❌ We don't access your files unless you choose to open a PDF

3. How We Use Information

We use the information to:

• Make the app work (scan QR codes, read PDFs)
• Save your invoices on YOUR device
• Remember your language preference
• Show you news articles you might like
• Fix bugs and improve the app
• Send you notifications (only if you allow it)

4. News & Discover Feature

The app shows business and economic news articles from various public RSS feeds. News sources may change from time to time through remote configuration updates.

We remember which categories you read to show you more relevant articles. This information stays on your device and helps personalize your news feed.

Note: News content is provided by third-party sources. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of these articles. Each news source has its own privacy policy and terms of use.

5. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you:

• App updates and announcements
• Interesting news articles based on what you like to read

You can turn off notifications anytime in your phone settings or app settings.

6. Third-Party Services

We use these services to make the app work:

• Google Firebase: For push notifications and app analytics
• News RSS Feeds: We fetch news from various public sources (they have their own privacy policies)

These third-party services may collect information about you. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

7. Permissions We Need

• Camera: To scan QR codes on invoices
• Storage: To save exported invoice files (CSV) and read PDF files you choose
• Internet: To fetch news articles and send crash reports
• Notifications: To send you app updates and news (optional)

We only use these permissions when needed. For example, we only access the camera when you tap the scan button.

8. Your Control

You can:

• Delete any invoice from the app anytime
• Clear all invoices using the "Clear Invoice" option in settings
• Export your invoices to CSV (they're saved to your device)
• Switch language (English/Arabic) anytime
• Turn off notifications
• Uninstall the app (all your data will be deleted)

9. Data Security

Your invoice data is stored securely on your device using encrypted databases. Only you can access it through the app.

When we send anonymous usage data to improve the app, we use secure connections (HTTPS).

However: No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10. No Warranties or Guarantees

This app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• All features will work perfectly at all times
• News content will always be available or accurate
• QR code or PDF reading will work in all cases

You use this app at your own risk. We are not responsible for:

• Any data loss or corruption
• Incorrect invoice readings
• App crashes or bugs
• Third-party content or services
• Any damages arising from the use of this app

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Use or inability to use the app
• Any errors or omissions in the app
• Any interruption or cessation of the app
• Loss of data or information

12. Children's Privacy

This app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. All invoice data is stored locally on your device only.

We do not collect names, photos, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information that would require parental consent.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
